Introducing Poisonous Crue, the ultimate tribute band dedicated to reviving the explosive energy of the ’80s rock scene! Based in Richmond, VA, this dynamic group blends the iconic sounds of Motley Crue and Poison, delivering an electrifying experience that takes audiences on a nostalgic journey through classic anthems and unforgettable hits.

Before forming Poisonous Crue each of the members honed their skills in various successful musical projects that paved the way for their current collaboration.

Band Members:

• Kevin (Vince Michaels): With a rich, 30 year background in music production and recording, Kevin has worked with national acts like RATT and Foreigner, ensuring each performance is both authentic and sonically impressive.

• Mark (Bobby Sixx): Originally from Poland, Mark studied at a prestigious music school in Gdansk City. His European flair adds a unique twist to the band’s energetic performances.

• Trey (Tommy Rockett): A seasoned drummer with over three decades of experience in major cities like Los Angeles and Tampa, Trey brings exceptional rhythm and a wealth of experience to the stage.

• John (CC Mars): An “80’s Rocker” at heart, John has had a very successful career as a lead guitarist and composer for various rock bands over the years. John is a seasoned guitarist – performing, writing, and recording music for many years. He’s an incredibly passionate musician who takes care to replicate accurate tones and live performances. In addition to Poisonous Crue, John performs with several original bands in the area.

• Beth (Nasty Habit): Beth is our very own Nasty Habit!  Born in Columbus OH, Beth grew up involved in Drama Club, school and church choirs, and dance class.  Poisonous Crue is the first band she’s been a part of and she draws on that background as she takes care of some backing vocals and bringing the presence of “Nasty Habit” to life on stage with all of the glam and energy, just as the original Nasty Habits did for the Girls Girls Girls & Dr Feelgood tours and the Moscow Peace Festival.  Beth says, “I’m having so much fun rocking the house with my bandmates!”

Founded in 2017, Poisonous Crue started as a local tribute act, quickly gaining recognition, they expanded their reach to eastern TN, NC, MD, and beyond. With the addition of their very own Nasty Habit Crue backup singer, the lineup was complete and Poisonous Crue began to appear at festivals & charitable events, larger venues, and extended their reach into PA, OH, and SC. Their performances aim to recreate the raw excitement of live rock shows, ensuring every audience leaves with lasting memories. Poisonous Crue brings an authentic replay of the Sunset Strip scene to the stage with sets from 2 of the most notorious bands of that time, Poison and Motley Crue.
